What Do Roe v. Wade & Celebrity Apprentice Have In Common? – Dr. Ramona Brockett

Dr. Ramona Brockett’s main focus in our discussion is Rowe v. Wade, the reinstatement of the woman’s womb and its continued impact on the lives of all women, especially black women, societies perceptions, our access to health care and the general quiet enjoyment of life.

Also, the Celebrity Apprentice Kenya vs. Brandy fight will be brilliantly tied into this topic because of the slanted perceptions that the media specializes in creating for the image of the Black woman and how this plays out into the real world making it difficult to take any Black woman serious regardless of her academic accomplishments, work ethic and pristine moral standards.

This is definitely a high end conversation jammed packed with the sweet pearls of wisdom that has become Dr. Brockett’s personal signature and brand.

I strongly suggest that you absorb these fact based truths and jot down everything that you want to discuss in future exchanges because this discussion will surely continue on as the developments in this area continue to evolve.

Please share your thoughts and perspectives in the comment area below and do know that your participation is encouraged and appeciated!

It was truly a pleasure as always to spend this valuable and edifying time with Dr. Brockett in discussion to experience her dynamic and cutting edge viewpoints.

I want to thank Dr. Brockett for shouting me out on this one! That was cool. But with regards to abortion, I’m definitely against it. For religious AND socio-political reasons as it amounts to us sacrificing our children. To a lesser god at that. Still doesn’t mean that we should allow unhealthy solutions for unwanted children to fill any vacuum of sensible law. With regards to the Kenya Moore situation, I’m glad Dr. Brockett set the record straight about her. I like Kenya Moore. I’ve been following her since way back. She’s not as ratchet on the Housewives show as people make her out to be. Furthermore, I definitely see the “tribe” labeling implications you mentioned in linking the behavior surrounding RvW to that going on with The Apprentice and other things portraying Black women a certain way. Took me a second go-round in listening to the show but I get it. It’s the same as it ever was… they label you first and then… Lastly, I like Glozell Green. I wouldn’t call her a coon or whatever but I would feel far more comfortable with her material if it was primarily FOR Black people. We shouldn’t deny ourselves the right to be funny or even scandalous if it’s for the education, enlightenment and uplifting of our own people. Still, I’ve seen footage of her stumbling and bumbling a little bit in her interview with The Prez. She actually a very smart individual and should have been acutely smart enough to know how she would look or how she could be used as a poster child for whatever whites allegedly don’t like about Black people. Anyway… GOOD SHOW! Peace-Out.

I understand Dr. B’S perspective. However, what about the child’s right to live. Who speaks for them? Over 50 millions babies have been dissected.and literally ripped from the womb. Why does a man or woman have the right to do this to a fellow human being? Much can be said about a society based on How they treat their children. What does it say about America?

How can she imply that I Am and Allah are the same ? Please do a shoe on her reasoning for this.
