It’s not a secret that in the United States of America, there is an ever increasing prison population whose statistics are shocking when compared to the rest of the entire world.
For a country that is well known the world over for its desire for abundance in all things material and carnal, America has seemed to overlook the need for an equal craving to immerse its wayward direction in all things spiritual.
Yes, we have the mega churches as well as the rest of the landscape dotted with the countless houses of worship everywhere that you turn. But when we see how the voids in our collective souls have manifested in the many lost lives that could have benefited from the proper guidance that can only come from an existence made to embrace true spiritual teachings over the seemingly useless religious rituals, we then see how our many houses of worship have failed us ultimately.
In a country that has nearly 300 sects and unique denominations of Christianity, and many others under the banner of Islam and Judaism, it should just not be where so many of us are locked away living so hopelessly with our futures placed on hold indefinitely.
Religion has failed us and it is evident that we need to feed those who are incarcerated in a way that will stop recidivism dead in its tracks so that society can benefit from the talents and abilities that are lost behind bars as opposed to the lawyers, police, judges, D.A’s, court officers as well as all of the many private companies who desire for the cycle of locking down our loved ones to continue on without an end in sight.
What about the families of the incarcerated?
What about those who have someone locked away yet do not have the resources to maintain not only their lives out here in a world where the economy is still challenging, but to also take care of the monetary and emotional needs of their family who need them more now than any other time in their lives?
Who really cares?
And who will really look out not only after the ultimate nightmare of lock down has happened, but in a proactive manner to feed the masses spiritually so that those bad decisions won’t be made that will send them to a place that is the closest thing to hell on earth?
Tonight we are going to discuss the need for TRUE SPIRITUAL SUPPORT to those at risk individuals who may sometimes feel that their lives do not count when in actuality it does!
