Steve Harvey: “I Don’t Give A Damn About Slavery!” – The LanceScurv Show

Steve Harvey once again shows why he is a sell out and a tool to manipulate the minds of not only the people, but an entire culture that should be empowering itself for positive change as opposed to the corporate submission that Mr. Harvey has become the Pied Piper for.

When he proclaimed on national television that he didn’t give a damn about slavery, many didn’t grasp that there was so much more to that statement than met the eye.

For most, it was a harmless joke that wasn’t meant to be taken as anything sinister so those in attendance at his studio audience clapped and laughed along like the happy sheeple that they are.

Others like myself picked up on the undertones and the subliminal message that was thrown out there and I immediately knew that I had to stand up to point out what I observed to be another negative blow to the liberation of Black people the world over!

….and for those who fell that what Steve Harvey said was nothing more than a light-hearted joke and nothing to be upset over, let me ask you this: How long would he have lasted on television if he said “I Don’t Give A Damn About A Jewish Holocaust!”

Listen in and please share your perspectives on this issue whether you agree with me or not so that we can continue our intelligent dialogue in the comment area below.

Thanks for listening and I do look forward to hearing from you!

Your Brother,

This was exceptional. Much respect. You finished the entire commentary
without using one racial pejorative (well “coon” maybe but that had a
purpose and meaning) or one vulgarity. You’ve gone to the top of my list
of Black internet commentators.

I didn’t hear him make the comment because I don’t watch him on TV. But I do listen to his radio show. He had better give a damn about slavery. Seeing as how it still exists. Particularly, in the form of human trafficking and worldwide child-prostitution rings. Things America seems to believe that it can’t be touched by.

Maybe “they” MADE him say it. Remember when the Ferguson grand jury reached a decision? Steve Harvey wet off the day after that. I wish I could land a copy of that particular show. I didn’t know there was such a thing as a professional rioter until he mentioned it on that show. That’s gotta be worth something.

Thank you Lance for your perspective. It was professional and on point. I appreciate it. My mom use to tell me, the same people you meet going up are the same ones you meet coming down. Also, you have to know where you have been in order to know where you are going. So many people that find themselves on top, forget how they got there. Life has a way of reminding you.

What’s interesting is that in addressing the woman’s lack of history knowledge, Harvey could’ve said “I don’t give a damn about World War 2, or anything other than what he said. So I agree with you Lance that mess was certainly not spontaneous, but definitely scripted, approved, purposeful!

Wow don’t let me get started because once I go on and rant and rave I don’t know when to stop. The Right fear us for what ever reason but nothing pisses me off more than to see our people fear and bow down to them to be accepted in their good graces. Our people will go so far as to make our own race look bad to appease the white man even to the point of selling out. I don’t do yes men with a massa mentality it’s just not in my nature. However, when it’s all said and done like OJ Simpson they will be back once the white man has exhausted all of their sell-out data. At the end of the day they are seen as niggers just like you and me. Just like Oprah who straddle the fence & then got the nerve to play in Selma but defend Sony’s racist emails. Sellouts can get the hell out.

Hey Lance why is everyone wearing black cloths. Beyoncé song a gospel song on the grammy awards; she sounded awful. I think you have to be spiritual to sing these songs, but I couldn’t understand the ritual she did at the end of her song. And now everyone in the entertainment community is wearing black and white.

Steve Harvey is excepted, because of his lack of speech. His dis and dat, one day I was listening to the television and I swore I was listening to a slave movie, but it was Steve Harvey’s country self. He is country, speaks like he is uneducated which makes him acceptable. Remember when they would always say President Obama is articulate and well spoken as if it wasn’t normal for a black people to speak well. Well they proved it to us when the put Steve Harvey on television almost 24 hours a day to prove to our black asses that this is how we really sound. And we let them do it. I don’t watch his show because I can’t stand to hear him talk; sounding like its 1930s when this is 2015. Plus he is arrogant as hell. I love a successful, confident, and well dressed black man, we need more of them, but Steve Harvey needs to let one of his show’s.. go. lol

I’m not supporting what he said, but let’s not forget Steve had Mike Brown’s mother on his show, often tries to help young people to be more responsible on his show and even has a leadership camp for young men and boys. So you can’t claim he hasn’t done anything for the black community at all or to help young black men. I think it’s a half and half situation for him, but slowly that one positive half is getting smaller and smaller as his masters creep closer with more dollars in their hands.

As black men most of us saw this coon coming a mile away and this is why he gravitated towards black women and not black men. Plus, he wanted their support and money.

I still havent gotten over what Steve harvey has done to Bernard Jeffrey “Bernie” McCullough in the The Original Kings of Comedy. Thats when he really “SOULD OUT!” I mean he tried to get Mr. Mac kicked off the show just because he had his own show and he could get back on tv at the time.

Yes I completely agree Lance! this is why I don’t even watch TV anymore, its all programmed to program you. Steve knows what he is doing and what he is saying and what messages he is giving to the masses. When he came out with this book think like a man, I knew then he had sold out, I say that because to many women today are already acting like men so he is now putting the icing on the cake by telling women to go ahead and think like one! This will further the plan to dumb down the man to think he is now the woman and the woman is the man. Just my thought and opinion.
