Nina Marie Westbrook, wife of the NBA’s Russell Westbrook, finds herself in the hot seat because of her very public comments speaking on the controversial issue of women who dress provocatively in public.
Was she really wrong for mentioning these women who appear to be out of control?
Is she to be commended for speaking her mind and showing the world that one can be happily married to a famous athlete without having to expose oneself to get them in the first place?
Or should she just simply sit down somewhere and mind her business as many have stated on the various social media platforms.
One thing is for certain is that the topic of women dressing too provocative or slutty won’t go away any time soon as it seems to be gaining traction in our society as many feel that the only way to get attention is to bare one’s goods to the entire world.
There are definite consequences for doing so but some may feel that the perceived reward definitely outweighs the risk.
We have to ask ourselves, is a little more attention worth the damage that is sure to come to one’s reputation as a lady?
