Let’s talk. No lectures, no fancy words—just real talk. You ever notice how people like to throw around “success principles” like they’re some secret formula? Like if you just follow these magical ten steps, you’ll wake up a millionaire? Yeah, nah. It doesn’t work like that.
I’m not sitting here as some rich dude telling you how I made it—I’m still on my way. But I do know a thing or two about making moves, staying focused, and actually doing instead of just talking. And that’s what I want to share with you.
So, if you’re serious about getting ahead, let’s chop it up.
Stop Waiting for People to Understand You
Here’s the thing—most people aren’t gonna get what you’re doing. Your own family, your closest friends, even the person you’re sleeping next to might look at you sideways when you start moving differently.
And that’s okay.
I had someone tell me, “Yo, my wife doesn’t support my dream. She’s scared I’m going too far.” I told him, “Bro, you have to be okay with that.” Not everybody is built to see the vision before it manifests. Some people can’t wrap their heads around something they’ve never touched.
The truth is, when you start walking in your purpose, you might make other people uncomfortable. Your ambition forces them to question their own comfort zone. And instead of cheering you on, they might try to pull you back down to where they feel safe.
Don’t let that stop you.
You’re not here to fit into their little box. You’re here to be extra—because guess what? The word “extraordinary” starts with extra. So if they call you too much? Good. That means you’re on the right path.
If You Don’t Have a Target, You’ll Never Hit Anything
Most people say they wanna be “rich” or “successful,” but ask them how much money they want to make? What does their dream life actually look like? And they have no clue.
“Just more.”
That’s not a plan—that’s a wish.
You can’t hit a target you haven’t set. Everything you see around you existed in someone’s mind before it was created. That phone in your hand, the chair you’re sitting on—it all started as a clear vision. So what does your dream look like? Get specific. Colors, locations, numbers.
And here’s where the energy part comes in. Imagine I told you that in ten days, you were guaranteed $10 million—tax-free, straight to your account. How would you walk around? Would you be sluggish and defeated, or would you be excited, confident, ready to move?
Now here’s the kicker—you gotta act like that before the money shows up. That energy? It attracts the opportunities, the people, and the moves that will make it real.
Ask Better Questions, Get Better Answers
I’ve coached people, and one thing I’ve learned is that success comes down to the questions you ask yourself.
Instead of whining about why something isn’t working, ask:
What’s missing?
What would have to be true for me to win at this?
If someone bought my business today, what’s the first thing they’d fix? Why haven’t I done it yet?
The quality of your questions determines the quality of your life. Stop waiting for a handout, and start questioning yourself into action.
Stop Overthinking and Start Doing
I get messages all the time:
“Lance, how do I start a business?”
Sell something to a stranger. That’s it.
“But what should I sell?”
Anything. The product is secondary—the action is what matters. Rich people don’t sit around overthinking. They make decisions, take action, and adjust along the way.
Meanwhile, folks are waiting for the perfect moment. Newsflash: it doesn’t exist.
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so take a damn shot. Even if you miss, you’re in the game, which is more than most people can say.
Measure What Matters
If you don’t track it, you won’t improve it. Period.
One of my boys was struggling with his weight. I asked him, “When’s the last time you stepped on a scale?” He hesitated. That told me everything.
Once he started tracking his weight every day, things changed. And that applies to everything—money, fitness, business.
You want to get rich? Track your income daily. Want to lose weight? Track your food and workouts.
You can’t improve what you refuse to measure.
Focus, Then Diversify
People love the idea of “multiple streams of income,” but let me tell you something—trying to start five different things at once is a fast track to failure.
The wealthiest people mastered one thing first. They pushed one boulder up the mountain until it gained momentum, then they expanded.
Concentration creates wealth. Diversification protects it.
So pick one thing, master it, and let it pay for everything else. Stop spreading yourself thin chasing too many ideas.
Play to Win, Not Just to Survive
Too many people move through life trying not to lose instead of playing to win. They spend hours trying to save a couple of bucks instead of figuring out how to make ten times more.
Listen, you can cut costs all day, but you can’t shrink your way into success. At some point, you have to expand—create more, earn more, do more.
Instead of stressing over what you might lose, focus on how you can create more value. Money follows value, not penny-pinching.
Final Thoughts
Success isn’t a secret. It’s not reserved for a lucky few. It’s just a game most people don’t play right.
Stop waiting for approval.
Get clear on what you want.
Ask better questions.
Take action.
Track your progress.
Focus and master one thing.
Stop thinking small.
That’s it. No magic tricks. No overnight success stories. Just real principles that work if you work them.
And if you’re serious about winning, start today.
