As brother Neely fuller has taught me I use the logic. American media
teaches us to praise those whom they choose. They killed Martin after
slavery and Harriet actively freed thousands of slaves unknown to the white
supremacist and now she a hero and we gonna put her on a bill? I swear the
Dr and I are on the same spirit- I literally read an article that was
speaking about Jewish reparations – its literally on Wikipedia. Why are we
not acknowledged? Why does the US not consider our communities a part of
the US and allow them to be destroyed / use the logic – the term controlled
demolition is accurate. I’m developing the courage to use my mouth and not
be afraid- thanks to both of u – great platform

Scott Grey, I understand. It is not easy to swallow a pill that says she
was anything other than a national hero. We only know what we read; and,
the history books inform us that Harriet Tubman was/is one of our first
American hertha–who was also a woman! It is sad, however, that at this
point in our economic history, when two new currencies have recently been
introduced to our economy in an effort to compete with euro and Asian
currenciess, we NOW place an African American on our “currency????”….
    well…….interesting….

I don t think Harriet Tubman is characterized correctly in this video. I
actually like Dr. Ramona Brockett, but I think its a reach to say that
slaves needed to be led to slaughter in order to fulfill her role as a
UNION spy. Especially since former slaves became vital as soldiers in the
union. Much of her work during the war was as a nurse cook and spy,
because she knew the land and had a network of former slaves that also knew
the land and she was able to gather position location, supply line routes,
    etc. of the confederate army.

I think its a stretch to say that she was simply “allowed” to do what she
did because of having an inside track as an “agent”. During that time many
people were underground doing things without capture.
