The Black Church isn’t what it used to be and I’m simply not afraid to say it!
It was even more of a shocker to me when I experienced the ratchet behavior of several southern congregations down here in Florida which made me see why many of us have turned away from it as a stable institution of spiritual and moral support for all.
In the present day the Black Church is not even a recognizable husk of what it once was. It has become a Sunday/Saturday morning nightclub replacement that has even surpassed the nightlife for its involvement in decadence!
It’s the same old worldly filth just repackaged in the righteous looking fabric of holiness, but when one pulls back the facade it’s quite evident that this once mighty collective force of the spirit has been compromised and marbled into something not of God.
