Our dear Sister Terri stating that Black people all over America are in an emergency state of despair cuts deep to the core of a reality that many are in denial of but needs to be examined. Her soothing voice is welcomed display of the healing power of a truly connected divine spirit of a Black woman as well as the strength that we can feel from the first spoken syllable. How can we deny the truth that she speaks on while it is so blatant in our everyday journeys through this place called the ‘hood whether it is on the east coast or west the engineered conditions always seem to remain the same.
While crime is Amerikkka’s middle name, we as Black people have all things bad attached to ours and we as a collective have the “honor” of having our particular decadence aired out on the so called mainstream media platforms that are engineering a false narrative about us basically stating that we are animalistic hedonistic low level sub humans that are a danger to be around and must be shot dead on sight at the first sign of being uncivilized…….and if the truth be told you can be doing the normal things that most people do as they live their lives and get shot down for that too!
So we need to take a hard look at the realities spoken by Sister Terri as we know that we all are not that sad portrayal that the media paints of us but we have to know that if we don’t start acknowledging the weaker links in the chain of the Black community then we will all be doomed to suffer as the enemy cares not about your social status because to this system we are all and one the same!
