Dr. Vibert Muhammad is a faculty member in the History Department at the University of Central Florida.
He is the premier scholar on the Nation of Islam and Islam among people of the African diaspora.

His scholarship also ranges into Afro-Latino Cultural History, Constitutional and Legal History,and Labor and Social History.
He is the author of hundreds of articles and the academic bestseller, Inside The Nation of Islam.
In every state and region in the United States since the passing of the 14th amendment in the 1860s you have cases of Black men and also Black women being murdered by civil authorities wholesale. The question–when is enough–enough? We are the most passive and benign people on the face of the earth when it comes to protecting our human rights. Note–that is not a compliment.
