Recently I have been seeing many articles and videos on how the United States government seeks to ban the use of the social media platform named TikTok from being used in America.
It’s amusing to hear how the government is accusing China of gathering information on all of the users of this platform as though the American media work hand-in-hand with the CIA and the government to do the same very thing.
Not only that, I feel that those social media platforms that work along with the United States also are upset that they cannot shadowban certain information from going out to the world in the same manner that they do.
Many of our world governments have various propaganda departments, whether they admit it or not. Still, the government of the United States is the most significant propaganda artist and liar on the face of the planet. So for them to see such a massive social media platform like TikTok, it must burn them to their souls that they cannot control the narratives shared there.
When TikTok first arrived on the social media scene, I admit that I wrote it off as something for children or young teens. Now that I see its impact and reach in such a powerful way, I have decided to rethink my stance on it and expand my presence to utilize it.
Now don’t think you would be free and clear from interference from the creators of this platform to halt the flow of your content if it happens to be politicized because I have heard stories about them doing just that.
But what I have heard is minor as opposed to the aggressive witchhunts that happened on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and similar social media platforms that citizens of the U.S. flock to daily.
Another point that I must share is that there have been several unofficial experiments to test the algorithms of the most prominent social media platforms by those who have accounts on all of them. This experiment consisted of uploading the same content to TikTok and other American-based platforms, and that particular content gained extra traction on American-based platforms than TikTok. So that tells you right there that all social media platforms are not giving you an even playing field for your content to be consumed equally by those who seek to view it.
Like the great world empires that have risen to power and disappeared over time, most social media platforms will come and go just as swiftly as they arrived on the scene if most of them never become a household names. But the top 10 social media entities will eventually fall by the wayside, only to be replaced by yet another emerging sensation that will rain in the subconscious minds of the masses until its time runs its course.
Just know that no matter what your favorite platform is on social media, the ultimate goal is control of your mind. This is the only reason the United States government would want to ban a platform they do not control. They want to hold you, track you, monitor you, and ultimately influence you to do their bidding without you realizing it.
So the only thing we can do with social media platforms is used them to our best advantage, especially if we run a large or small business. If not, do try to utilize it in a way where you are learning something of note to improve your cerebral capabilities instead of allowing it to waste your time and insert repetitive mind-numbing thoughts that bring your IQ to a point where your brain is hardly functional.
With the introduction of AI into our world, we have to be careful not to depend on this technology to the point where we lose ourselves. We must draw the line and not become lazy to give power that destroys our drive and motivation.
