Most of us who have been raised in a religious/spiritual setting have been raised with the ideal that monogamous relationships are the divine proper way to go.
Personally, this is where I stand but I can understand why more and more women are considering the option of allowing their man to explore the broader horizons of multiple love interests not necessarily culminating in a sex act.
Why does this make sense to the growing population of women who are considering it?
Well, many see how so many men are cheating and see how many of their friends are sharing their men anyway and it makes them feel that it might just be better if everything was in the open.
That being said – in this discussion – how would a man feel about his woman pursuing the attention of other men possibly on the level of intimacy?
Are their spiritual consequences?
What about the potential for drama when one party chooses not to be involved anymore?
What about the chance of diseases or even an unwanted pregnancy?
Are there levels to how far that one may want to venture? Would this be a temporary adventure or the beginnings of an extended family?
There are so many issues that need to be discussed under the umbrella of open relationships and even if you do not agree with the concept, it just might be beneficial to hear why others just might prefer this ever growing but still uncharted area of the heart.
