Purify Love, (Also Known as Prophet Shyloh Chalom El-Shaddai & Formerly known as Favor), is a Minister of LOVE & Truth. She is the Leader & Founder of (The Purify Love Movement), a Movement and Concept that she created several years ago to focus on using her (Not For Profit) Ministry of LOVE & PEACE to be able to bring together people of ALL Ethnicities, Colors, Creeds, Genders, Backgrounds, Religions, & Sexual Orientations. She believes that LOVE & PEACE are the only POWERS that will create (lasting) change in ANY Society, Nation, and in this World as a whole. She is Speaker, Radio Show Host, Mentor, Writer, Poet, Author, Activist, Life Advice Guru, Friend, & Follower of Yah(God). A Native Washingtonian, she began writing at the age of fourteen. Her First poem was entitled “Young Black Woman.” Since then Purify has written over 450 songs, raps, & poems, and has performed at more than 50 venues, including the World Famous “Apollo Theater”.
Purify was Featured on Channel 9 NEWS WUSA with Derrek McGinty for her life story, which also Garnered Attention from Activist/Radio Show Host Michael Baisden, Grammy Nominated R&B Singer Raheem Devaughn, & Grammy Award Winning R&B Singer MYA. She is the Executive Director, Producer, & Radio Show Host of “Purify Love Universal”, which focuses on Real Life Circumstances & Advice for walking your own personal path & journey.
Formerly, Purify was a Chair/Board Member of the NCOA(National Caregivers of America), which focused on raising awareness, funds, and pushing policy on behalf of Senior Citizens across America that suffer at the hands of Abuse, Neglect, & Disease. Amongst other things, Purify is not shy to the Entertainment industry, she was the Opening Act for Broadway’s Own and R&B Recording Artist Elisabeth Withers (Suge Avery in “The Color Purple”) , and also opened for Def Comedy Jam’s Own Comedian Michael Brooks (now Host of 95.5 Fm DC Radio). She was a Feature in the Movie “Stomp the Yard 2” & was the feature Poet for the “Women United to Help Others” Conference, held by the 1st Lady of PG County Leslie Johnson (wife of PG County Executive Jack Johnson), with over 600 in attendance. Purify was also the feature Poet in 2007 & 2008 on Joe’s Place 96.3FM WHUR (Howard University Radio), and followed up with her 1st CD entitled “Real Life Circumstances,” which has sold over 600 copies throughout the Washington Metropolitan area alone. She has been known to move her Crowds & Audiences towards change, growth, self-acceptance, and pursuing their passion. Her motto is “love is the key, it is the only way.” She is known for and believes that her life and testimony are an open book and an example to all no matter what race, color, creed, religion, or sexual preference. Her life, exhaustive resume, and extensive accreditations are a testament to the Speaker, Activist, Advocate, & Lyricist that she has been for for over a decade. Purify currently resides in Washington, DC & travels doing Speaking Engagements across the country to be able to help those that have dealt with issues of molestation, rape, homosexuality, and other topics people do not like to touch on. Being an Adoptee herself, Purify also is a motivational speaker & has been a Guest Speaker for Social Workers, potential foster parents, adoptees, orphans and foster children in the system in order that they may find hope during their process. Currently Purify is also working on a CD compilation, biography, and Poetry Anthology.
