It’s a question that’s not as easily answered as one might think.
While the majority of individuals asked will definitely say that they would not tolerate their mate cheating on them and will leave them immediately, the fact of the matter is that when they made their statement, they didn’t take into consideration the amount of time invested emotionally, financially as well as the other variables that would make it literally impossible to simply walk out of the door.
It’s easy to say what we will do but how many would do as they stated in this situation?
In today’s world with the dollar losing its buying power, many couples have chosen to stay in the relationship even after it hit the rocks merely because it might be a tremendous setback to venture forth solo into the world unknown.
So on top of the emotional issues that will arise from this unwanted and devastating discovery, you’ll have the ripple effect of the many factors coming at you that will demand swift decisions to be made immediately flooding your brain as if the initial findings weren’t enough.
You’ll also have to ask yourself if the relationship is salvageable. You’ll have to weigh the dirty deeds executed against the underlying issues that were already present in the relationship?
All unions are different just as the influences behind them, so when a person finds out that their mate was untrue the decision to stay or to leave can only be made from the perspective of that person who is IN the situation and sometimes the decision that they make may not be so popular with family and friends.
