Sandra Hinton is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Master of Arts in Community Mental Health with 20 + years of experience in non-profit administration and community base education as an advocate for family violence, child abuse and neglect, parenting education and advocacy. She is pursuing a doctorate in the field of counseling and traumatology. She is a Resident in Counseling-Licensed Professional Counselor. Her focus is on Complex-Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
My world view in healing comes from a Trauma Informed, Socio-Ecological and Psycho-Emotional and neuroscience and neuroplasticity of brain development. As such, my awareness is integrating interventions and activities that focus on the environmental and interpersonal development; family, school, peers, and other factors that may aid in changing thoughts, behaviors, and circumstances. In order to facilitate radical perceptions to connect and discover growth and a continual personal, familial and community adaptations. In addition, my Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Saint Augustine’s College. I am a consultant, trainer, and coach in trauma -focus modalities and treatment for adults and children.
