What makes two people who at one time practically vowed to stay together forever or even merely stay in a committed go at each other so viciously to the point of buffoonery as though they are hellbent on being a thorn in that ex-spouses life forever!
For many, it has become what they do as their favorite pastime or recreation. Every time you see someone going through this increasingly common and very embarrassing scenarios, you have to realize that it never started out that way. There was a time when these very much now “public enemies” were so kind, loving, affectionate and protective over one another it seemed as though their every moment together was pure HEAVEN!
No one would have ever thought that this loving couple would be at each others throats every chance they got and would demean and put down each other to absolutely anyone who cared to listen!
I don’t know about you but I have been privileged (?) to be on the receiving end of having to hear when a disgruntled ex-spouse decided to air out the dirty laundry as only they can do it!
You know, the sad thing is that when there are children involved some of them do not seem to understand the damage that it can cause their psyche as well as the confusion they should not be feeling in their all to crucial developing years when one parent is trying to turn their kids against the next one!
This is LOW LOW LOW!
But never the less it is a common practice even when the custodial parent doesn’t directly “say” anything bad about the non custodial parent which is usually the ex-husband and father. Now we KNOW that there are some great dads out here who are single parents but most will agree that the men are the ones who are usually the bad guy and in many case deservedly so.
Fighting in public can mean literally throwing those knockout blows with bad intentions and usually lands one or both in jail on multiple charges! I’m quite sure you’ve heard of a few stories of this kind yourself or even have witnessed it firsthand. When you are close to the couple or even one of them it can even hurt you as a friend to see a once happy relationship go down the tubes in becoming something that even Jerry springer would gladly showcase on his show!
How many of us have seen that evil ex-spouse get pissed off when their ex seems to have made peace within themselves and moved on from the former relationship and the drama that it brought only to now have some new drama delivered right to their front door because they are so angry that their ex-spouse upgraded!
Child support games! Now I KNOW you know (And some of you firsthand, yours truly included!) of that ex-spouse who purposely drags their former love through the court system not necessarily for more cash but for the humiliation of taking them their and the power trip and rush that accompanies such an event. Now granted, some people really NEED to dragged back into court or even arrested because of their sad ass record of non existent payments to take care of their children! We want to hear of those stories too as there is justification in that side of the story to do so!
And while murder is unfortunate, it really shows us how deep the venom can spew enough to the point where many cannot view reality for what it really is and move on! They feel that killing someone is the answer until after a few years in lock down they threw their lives away not knowing that the best thing was to merely walk away! But you know what? Someone will commit another murder soon unfortunately because many cannot control ourselves when we perceived that we have been shortchanged in the game of love.
We really need to speak on this game of Russian Roulette of the heart because with the pressures of the world ever increasing we depend more on those that we love and when things seem to run it’s course with two who can’t move on in a positive manner it always seems to be a recipe for disaster!
We want everyone to share their tales of a marriage or love gone bad because maybe someone who is thinking of doing something foolish will change their mind and COME TO THEIR SENSES!
See you there!
