As the race for the next president heats up, I’m left wondering what kind of spell has been cast over parts of the Black community, because it seems something strange is in the air. Kamala Harris, a vice president who didn’t even have to climb the ranks within her party, has somehow convinced a number of folks that she’s got the Black community’s back. But what has she done to show for it? I can tell you right now—next to nothing. From pandering with celebrities to giving away resources to non-citizens, it’s clear her game plan is less about progress and more about pulling the wool over our eyes.
VP Harris’ Race Claims: Truth or Pure Politics?
First off, let’s tackle this talk about her race. Kamala has repeatedly claimed to identify as Black, a narrative she’s used to rally voters, despite having a track record that doesn’t line up with the values or the struggles of Black America. Candace Owens has exposed these inconsistencies in detail, ripping back the layers on Harris’ convenient claims. So why do some in our community keep rallying behind her? What is it about a claim to Blackness that makes us look past all the evidence to the contrary?
Here’s the kicker—this same VP once outright said she wouldn’t do anything for Black people that she wouldn’t do for anyone else. Yet, she’s gone above and beyond for certain other groups, rolling out the red carpet for countless illegal immigrants, all while leaving Black Americans to fend for themselves in struggling neighborhoods, without sufficient resources, safety, or opportunity. How can someone openly disregard the community they claim to represent, and still get our support? It’s race politics at its finest.
The Great Giveaway: Housing, Healthcare, and More
Let’s talk about what Kamala’s been busy doing instead. While Black communities across the nation grapple with poverty, crime, and lack of resources, Kamala’s out here handing benefits like it’s candy at Halloween. Free housing? Check. Healthcare? Check. Financial aid? Check. And it’s all given to those who haven’t put in a single day’s work here or paid a dime in taxes. She’s got taxpayers footing the bill for policies that seem designed to destabilize neighborhoods and communities that were already fighting an uphill battle.
These “gifts” aren’t just random acts of generosity—they’re calculated moves. Flood these neighborhoods with new voters who will, out of gratitude or obligation, lean Democratic. Harris is building a voter base at the expense of the very citizens she was elected to serve. It’s a ploy to steal yet another election by importing votes, skirting the Constitution and, if necessary, bending it altogether. It’s manipulation on a level that should have every Black American asking what’s really going on here.
A Political Rally or a Celebrity Circus?
And, if I may add, have you seen her rallies? Instead of discussing real policies, she’s busy rolling out the red carpet for a parade of celebrities. We’re talking Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Jennifer Lopez—entertainers, not leaders. It’s as if they think Black Americans can’t see past the glitz and glamour, like all it takes to earn our votes is a celebrity on stage. This isn’t leadership; it’s pandering at its worst. It’s like a smoke-and-mirrors trick where substance takes a back seat to spectacle.
When did we start mistaking celebrities for voices of authority? Bringing in rappers and entertainers to drum up votes only shows her lack of respect for Black voters. We are not here to be dazzled by the next pop star—what we need are real solutions, not an overpriced concert tour disguised as a political movement.
Barack Obama Steps In—And Fumbles
Now, here comes Barack Obama, thinking he can still sway the Black community to rally behind Harris by telling us it’s sexism if we don’t. But when Obama made that statement, it backfired in ways he didn’t expect. Black men are tired of being told we’re “wrong” for refusing to support people who don’t serve our interests. This isn’t about sexism; it’s about standing up for our needs and refusing to be ignored and disrespected by leaders who offer us nothing but empty words.
Obama’s lecture on sexism fell flat, and rightfully so. We’re past the days of blindly following along, and it’s time the Democratic Party understood that. Black men want real change, not condescending lessons about how we should think and act. And the more they try to guilt-trip us, the more they show just how out of touch they really are.
The Democratic Party’s True Colors
In a fair and square election, Harris and the Democrats wouldn’t stand a chance. Poll after poll shows Trump as the favorite among those tired of empty promises and failed policies. His record speaks volumes, from economic stability to keeping the country out of unnecessary conflicts. Harris, on the other hand, has spent her term leaving Black Americans with little to no advancement, all while focusing on everyone else but us.
The Democratic Party has been exposed, plain and simple. They’ve spent too long banking on the Black vote without delivering. This is the same party that brought us policies that keep communities broken, jobs scarce, and our streets unsafe. They’ve had decades to prove themselves, and the results are here for all to see. If they win, it won’t be by the will of the people—it’ll be through manipulation and trickery, just like they’ve done before.
So, what are they spraying in the air over there? It’s not a physical mist, but a mental one. They’re hoping we’ll keep our heads down, ignore the facts, and cast our votes based on empty promises. But we’re waking up, and if they think they can keep fooling us, they’ve got another thing coming.
The madness is almost over and it will be very interesting to see what happens.
