WHY WE ALL NEED OUR OWN PERSONAL TOOLBOX OF WISDOM!

I always make it a habit to write something deep from the heart when in flight during travel. It’s a time of forced introspection for most but for me it is a continuation of an already perpetual state of meditation that I always make sure to keep myself in.

Every moment that we are blessed with has a lesson contained within if we would only be aware of of what is oftentimes staring is right in our faces.

I’ve found that when we look too hard for the answer to our individual life challenges and dilemmas we totally miss it if we are not detached from the ever increasing hectic world that we live in.

At this present time in my life I can truthfully say that I’m in a space where I’m not seeking any major answers but am merely embellishing a reality that has been my best overall this far. But this does not mean that I cannot discover a valuable lesson that I will need for the near or distant future as new challenges will inevitably present themselves in my life where I’ll need to be prepared.

WHY WE ALL NEED OUR OWN PERSONAL TOOLBOX OF WISDOM!

It’s like this, when you’re preparing yourself for a long road trip you know that you’ll eventually get hungry and need to eat. How foolish would it be to not pack a little something for you to eat later on into your trip as opposed to being made a slave to the high priced junk food garbage that they sell at these rest stops that will hijack your bank account for something that is otherwise inexpensive?

Well there is no shared or observed wisdom that is useless to you. We must absorb as much wisdom as we possibly can because we just don’t know when it will become useful oftentimes at the most unexpected instances.

I have a personal concept which I refer to as my Toolbox of Wisdom. It’s a collection of useful actions and thoughts that I’ve collected over the years that I can utilize whenever a trying time comes up in my life where I will need that extra bit of direction that has been tried and tested to work over the years. Most of this wise advice comes directly from my own experiences but is not limited to just my own.

I’ve learned from early on to gain knowledge and wisdom from the experiences of others also. That way we can benefit from the hard earned lessons of others without actually having to go through the fires that they may have to endure during that time.

If we possess an attitude that what others are enduring “could never happen to me”, we will loose out on being gifted with gaining another valuable instrument into our personal Toolbox of Wisdom and will regret the missed opportunity for personal growth as we will be forced to seek that wisdom from someone else’s toolbox.

We can save ourselves a lot of frustration if we learn from the bad choices that others have made. But many will have to taste that bitter pill personally because they feel too invincible before their imaginary personal bubble of denial is broken.

I’ve been brought along down a very long road in this life and have to honestly say that I did not get this far because of my own brilliance, it’s because of all that I’ve learned through others whether they volunteered to share their wisdom or from me simply observing their walk.

That being said, to see so many individuals that I’ve known over the many decades of my life fall by the wayside for a multitude of reasons whether it’s from an unfortunate circumstance out of their control or a foolish choice that they’ve made, it has taught me to be grateful to my Creator because I could have been knocked off this wonderful ride call life just as easily.

After all that I’ve learned I can truthfully say that we all have some knowledge and wisdom to pass on to someone who may need it but might be too proud or too ashamed to ask for it. We must know this and give of ourselves freely to help those who may be at an important crossroads in their life and have no one to turn to.

We have to remember that we weren’t born all knowing and had to take a few bumps and scratches along the way that helped us to get to where we are today. To help others is the ultimate way to make use of the precious wisdom that you now possess but it won’t be worth anything to anyone unless we volunteer to give it to those in need just as easily as it came to is when we needed it.

We don’t own those jewels of wisdom that we now possess in abundance and must share them because when we transition on to the next level we won’t be able to take them with us! So be a blessing with what you know and fertilize the world with it so that we can leave this plane better off because of our engagement with it so that we can live on through others and the wisdom that we so graciously shared!
