Will your life be worth celebrating is a very introspective conversation between Mrs. Scurv and LanceScurv as we were inspired to speak about this because of a video shared with us of the passing of a close friend’s relative. This particular video stoked many feelings inside of us from the love shown at a home-going ceremony held in Jamaica. We reminisced about the love that we once had in the black community and how it was easy to share between us any resources because we saw each other as one.
Today because of the arrogance of the every man for himself mentality, we have lost the connection that helped us to thrive no matter what the challenges were in our personal or collective lives. We always had a joy that could not be robbed from us because we always showed love to each other when it counted the most. This is what we spoke on and I’m quite sure that you will enjoy this very deep exchange. Make sure to share your perspectives in the comments section below. If you don’t get anything else from this conversation know that we need to maintain our connectedness as a people regardless as to the distractions and temptations that the oppressor’s world brings to us. Know that it is an illusion that is not good for us in the long run because at the end of the day no matter what, all we have is us. Thank you so much for spending your precious time here with us! ENJOY!
