As much as I bang my head against the wall about it, only the Almighty Creator Himself can really tell me why our talk show continues to defy the odds and get better and better each and every new week that passes us by!
But I do believe that Joe Neckbone has summed it up better than I could ever as he basically said that where else could you have such real people banging down the door to tackle such real issues in a manner that Tom Joyner and Michael Baisden just haven’t been able to do?
That’s not a putdown to the excellent jobs that they do on radio but it’s that extra bit of icing on the cake that we have because we don’t we don’t have the parameters and boundaries that they have to operate within. Sure, the cursing might get a little out of hand and it can seem to almost get a little too personal at times but I believe most would rather a little too much icing on the cake as opposed to not enough at all.
First off, let me tell you that while I am so damn proud to have my name on this special experience, I am humbled beyond measure to be intimately associated with such an extraordinary group of righteously bold and intellectually gifted individuals who have the ability to communicate their perspectives so effectively above and beyond anything that I see on the media diaspora.
That being said, it’s a shoo-in that this forum will grow because of it and I do promise to never veer away from this format at all as I too look forward to the sharing and exchange each week just like an addict fiends for the next hit of dope.
Yes. It’s THAT serious.
I also have to share once again with those who are unaware or new to the show, we have an Aftershow Hour that continues on for those who have an open phone line were things continue to verbally hangout but not only that we usually conference call each other after that to continue our intense dialogue long into the wee hours of the morning sometimes almost until daybreak! If this is not a righteous addiction then I don’t know what is!
I also wan to thank everyone in the listening audience who have displayed a divine patience with me as my skills grow in this area of expertise because I have been learning as I go along and appreciate all of the constructive criticism that helps me to bring a better show to you!
A big shout out goes to Chey’s Friday night hangout crew who actually get together with each other and enjoy the show as a backdrop and social stimulant to the already good time that they are already having! I must say that THAT’S an immense compliment and a massive motivator to fire me through the countless productive hours of creative isolation to continually offer you the best of my abilities on all of the multiple fronts that I happily spend my time engaging in.
It’s almost like that chef who is in the kitchen long before the guests arrive to the restaurant to dine down aggressively on the culinary gifts of that same master chef as they have traveled from almost ridiculously far places in order to sink their teeth into that first delicious bite of a meal that they have craved intensely all week while they toiled through their hectic schedules.
…….and while we are afforded the luxury of technology to bring us together, you can’t show me anyplace in the world during our time together on the show whether you are participating in the actual discussion for all to hear or quietly curled up in your bed secretly listening intently on the phone where there is more of a feeling of intimacy and love than on our shows every Friday night!
I truly believe this is one of the aspects that has under girded the upswing of our phenomenal progress and will continue to take us into new and exciting places where no online Talk Show has gone before!
There is no charge and there is no requirements demanded for all to join in, all that I ask is that you all continue to share the LanceScurv Talk Show links with other like minded individuals who would appreciate the downtime away from their busy schedules to kick back and unwind with the “realest” group of people that cyberspace will EVER see!
Because we could never fly as high without your continued support and from what I see our future together sure looks bright!
